First they answered questions. Then they were allowed to act, inside limits somebody set. Next comes real delegation, where the agent finishes a job while you sleep, and after that agents dealing with each other. Money is the rung where almost everything stops.
Connect an agent to a bank and it cannot move money at all. Hand it a key and it can move all of it. Neither one leaves a limit the agent cannot reach, so most builders pick the first and the job just ends where the paywall starts.
